Creative Sparks was established in 2007 as a means of making Dance and Performing Arts accessible in all areas of the community.

The Principal, Rachael Marriott, trained for three years to complete ISTD teaching qualifications in 3 genres. On graduation from Performing Arts training Rachael was awarded a diploma of distinction for her abilities as an all round performer. It is her love for the performing arts as whole that has driven her to teach. Rachael was keen to inspire others and ensure as many children as possible were given the opportunities she had to experience dance.

As well as providing extra curricular classes in many, many Primary Schools Creative Sparks is now also running as a dance school in Watford to give those with particular interest in the arts a chance to come and learn in a more technical way.

Creative Sparks have been lucky enough to team up with Moonglow studios in Watford to provide facilities for a whole host of new classes. Moonglow has been established for over 35 years with an excellent reputation of training in Ballroom, Latin, Disco/Freestyle and Rock and Roll. The owners of the school are world Olympic champions and pupils have gone on to, among other things, become the professional dancers we see on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’!

Creative Sparks is now working alongside Moonglow in their newly refurbished studios to provide the ‘stage’ dance styles and completing the all round dance centre.
